The MOIT organized the first cleaner production training course in Da Nang

Implementation of the Cleaner Production Strategy in Industry until 2020, to improve the capacity of consultants, support to implement cleaner production at the Department of Industry and Trade, Center for Industry Promotion / Group / Corporation / Association and consultants in guiding the application of cleaner production in industrial production facilities, Ministry of Industry and Trade held 2 training courses Training on "Improving Practices for Cleaner Production Assessment" in 2017.
Course 1 was held in Da Nang (1st session) and Quang Nam (2nd session)
Course 2 was held in Ha noi (1st session) and Quang Ninh (2nd session)
The workshop was a good opportunity to help enterprises fully aware about the solution of cleaner production, make conditional to exchange with the experts in this field and evaluation practice cleaner production in their own manufacture factory.
During the two days from 21 to 23 June 2017 in Da Nang, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce held the first training course in the year on "Improving the skills of practice assessment of cleaner production". Session 1 of the course includes the training consists of 3 days of study: 2 days for theoretical training on Cleaner Production Assessment skills and 1 day for fieldwork to teach the trainees the skills to collect information in the enterprise.
On the first day, lecturer - Cleaner Production expert, Ms. Tang Thi Hong Loan shared the basics of cleaner production, the basics to distinguish cleaner production from environmental treatment common solutions. From there, students gain a new perspective and a better approach when talking and convincing enterprises to implement cleaner production solutions or environmental solutions.
On the second day, lecturer and expert Nguyen Thi Truyen continued to share with the trainees the advanced knowledge on skills of rapid appraisal of cleaner production such as evaluation of the efficiency of using materials and chemicals, water, thermal efficiency and electric efficiency; experience gathering observation information, interviewing enterprises.
On the third day, trainees were able to visit and practice the information gathering skills and rapid assessment of production status at Tan Long paper mill - Asia Architecture & Trading Co., Ltd.
After the first training session, participants will have 4 months to conduct a quick appraisal of cleaner production at an industrial production facility in the locality where they work and make a report to carry out the workshop comment and evaluation in the second training session.
Session 2 of course 1 - Training workshop on Improving Cleaner Production Practices is expected to be held in Hoi An city, Quang Nam Province on October 19-20, 2017.
