The field of electrical engineering including manufacturing enterprise specialized transformers as JSC MIBA transformer manufacturing, with products such as intermediate transformer capacity of 16,000 KVA, 3-phase transformer capacity 35,000 KVA and a number of products to serve the power industry. In the field of manufacture and assembly of motorcycles, automobiles have several prominent businesses such as sulfate Vietnam Co., JSC support technological development Detech, JSC TMT, Public Dong Feng Co., JSC automotive mechanics 3-2, Ltd. production of auto parts, motorcycle Vietnam (VAP), etc.

Although it has achieved a certain number of achievements, but the province's mechanical industries mainly just stop at assembly, machining, materials depend on import, mechanical products of low quality, no brand, mounted with industrial development. In this situation, many domestic enterprises desired mechanical technology investments, applying advanced techniques to produce, but the biggest problem now is lack of capital is experiencing. Therefore, state, provincial policies and mechanisms needed to support specific, clearly defined factors should support and assist public sector through mechanisms created order, appointment of contractors or domestic bidding.

Mr. Vu Duc Son, Director of the Department of Trade and Industry said in Hung Yen Province, proposed to the ministries of the central government to revise the list of subjects, key mechanical products, should be limited to 5 - 6 specialized, mechanical products of high value, favorable market conditions to concentrate resources for development investment as "tractor" to promote the industry, other products. Besides, the policy specifies support for businesses, for policy beneficiaries support, especially financial support, investment research and market development.

On the side of the province, the province has been implementing programs to build a database of market information, prices, producer; policy on loans, while corporate tax investment in equipment, technology, and support businesses in enhancing skills for engineers, technical workers in mechanical engineering.

On the part of the province's mechanical engineering enterprises, need to strengthen cooperation and links in the production in order to specialize, to avoid duplication of investments; strengthening collaboration with specialized research institutes, universities ... to take advantage of the strengths, efficient use of investment funds for scientific research, technology.
