IPC1 supports the upgrading of production technologies

22/11/2017

The supported projects are based on the results of rigorous surveys, with priorities given to large projects with significant spillover effects and job creation potential.

A project to build a technical performance model for steel production, conducted by the Vinh Phat Production and Trading Co, Ltd, with a total investment of VND15.47 billion, is a good example of how such government programs can effectively help enterprises. The national industry promotion budget provided more than VND370 million for the project to purchase machinery and equipment. According to the beneficiary, the project has helped a local company stabilize production and produce quality goods.

IPC1 also provided more than VND400 million for a project applying machinery in safety equipment production, enabling the Phuong Ngoc Co, Ltd to purchase three computerized sewing machines that automatically operate many of the processes with features like speed control and fabric guidance systems. In particular, computerized sewing machines help users spend less time on preparation and more time on production.

The supported projects have contributed to promoting the advantages of each locality, and attracting the attention of businesses.

The IPC1 is closely monitoring the investment process of rural industrial establishments in order to accelerate their progress. In addition, the center is also implementing a project supporting consultancy and training in rural industrial establishments to improve efficiency in trade and production activities, and a project on repairing and upgrading environmental pollution treatment systems.

In 2018, the IPC1 will focus on developing high-quality and feasible projects based on the results of rigorous surveys. For example, the IPC1 will support the Tomexco laser-cutting machine in order to help a local company reduce the outsourcing cost and develop large-wing industrial fans.
