In 2015, Vinh Long Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consultant successfully implemented 5 projects on supporting enterprises to purchase equipment and devices worth over 400 million VND.

As one of facilities received financial support to purchase new production lines of fresh noodles without water combined automatic packaging machine, the owner of noodles producing facility, Truong Nhut Khanh said: Previously noodle production had to use a lot of water, so they had to treat large amounts of wastewater. After being received the new production lines without water, the facility saved 70- 80% washing water, reducing production cost by 10%, increasing productivity from 50kg noodles/hour up to 300 kg/hour. In addition, thanks to the packaging machine, products become more attractive and cleaner.

Recently, Vinh Long Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consultant has give a financial support package of 125 million for the production line of Trung Hai coffee production facility. The facility owner Lieu Trung Hai said that replacing previous rudimentary equipment and devices by new modern production lines helped his facility increase productivity from 350 kg/day up to 1.5 tonnes/day. Coffee bean quality is better 95% of beautiful colored beans without being spotted, reducing fuel consumption and 50% of labor. Roasting yield of coffee beans rise from 2 batches/h to 6-8 batches/h. The facility has more partners and distributors, increasing competitiveness in the market.

In 2016, Vinh Long Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consultant continued implementing 9 projects to support industrial production facilities with a financial package of 1 billion VND, including: Spending for application of advanced equipment and devices in coffee production; Spending for application of advanced equipment and devices in trash car (Hoa Thuan village); Spending for application of advanced equipment and devices in trash car (Phu Nong village); Spending for application of advanced equipment and devices in bread production; Spending for application of advanced equipment and devices in sauces production; Spending for application of advanced equipment and devices in wood processing; Spending for application of advanced equipment and devices in shoes production; Spending for application of advanced equipment and devices in sewing; Spending for application of advanced equipment and devices in washing line of vegetables.

Economic integration has posed many challenges for enterprises. In order to survive, enterprises must now equip themselves with "secret weapons" to enhance their competitiveness. The efficiency of equipment innovation with financial support of Vinh Long Department of Industry and Trade has motivated the local enterprises to innovate their current manufacturing technology and upgrade its product value in the market.
