Vietnam Industrial supporting products exhibition: New technologies are introduced
Mr. Le Thanh Liem, Deputy director of Ho Chi Minh People’s Committees say that, the city has identified development of supporting industry are play an important role in raising proportion of domestic goods, increasing value and competitiveness of the products and limit Trade deficit.
Recent years, to promote the development of supporting industries, the city has established the Centre for development of supporting industry; showroom of supporting industrial products; implementation of human resource training models through linking institutes, universities and the Centre for development of supporting industry.
Currently, the city is promoting the link between the investors owning advanced technologies and supporting industrial factories. At the same time, to actively support domestic enterprised can afford to provide supporting industrial products to foreign corporations, multi mechanisms and policies from trade and investment promotion, advanced technological innovation are implemented by the city.
According to Mr. Le Thanh Liem, the exhibition is the first step of the Project “development of supporting industry in period of 2015 – 2020 and orienting to 2020. This is also a major event of the supporting industry, assisting enterprise in building capacity, equipment innovation, market expansion, etc.
Mr. Pham Thiet Hoa – Director of Centre for Trade Promotion and Investment adds, in the overall development plant of the supporting industry to 2020, oriented to 2030, Vietnam focus on development of supporting industry on 3 key areas such as plastics-rubber, electrical-electronics, textiles, footwear, mechanical … in particular, high technology supporting industry will form equipment, software manufacturing enterprises that supply to high-tech industry. Priority investing into the production of materials such as plastic, rubber, ceramics, chemicals…
Thus, the exhibition will be an opportunity to promote the breaking growth, expansion in supporting industry, exchange of experiences between local and foreign businesses. At the same time, this is where Vietnam enterprise can search for business, explore new technologies in order to produce qualified products, improve efficiency and productivity.
Together with introduction of products for supporting industry of Vietnamese enterprises and overseas in the fields of mechanical, electronic, metal working, electrical … many activities are taking place at the exhibition such as advanced engineering, electronic hand soldering competition, technology presentations, etc. and specialized seminars on supporting industry.
