Statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade of Hau Giang province, the industrial production value in June reached 1892 billion VND, increasing 11,41% over the same period. Only in June 2016, the production of frozen seafood reached 3,664 tonnes, increasing 9.5% over the same period; Rice millers reached 135.68 thousand tons, up 48.14% over the same period; etc.

Achieving those results thanks to the technology innovation of processing enterprises to improve product quality and productivity. The province prioritizes development of agricultural and fisheries processing sectors, which have competitive advantages and potential for exporting, use local raw materials and provide a lot of jobs for the society.
