On 22nd April 2013, Sê San Hydropower Development Company received the 5S certification granted by Vietnam National Productivity Institute, makinga large move in the development process of Sê San Hydropower Development Company

After receiving the certification, Sê San Hydropower Development  has so far continued maintaining 5S implementation. The company has also applied many quality management standards and tools to improve their productivity. Hence, the summarizing operating results of Sê San Hydropower Development Company in 5 years from 2010 to 2015 showed the great success in both productivity and quality power, beyond the expectation in Vietnam Electricity Corporation’s target point.

Additionally, Sê San Hydropower Development Company’s employees have also improved their self-consciousness, executive discipline and norms of productivity and quality quickly and regularly. The office and factory environment are significantly appreciated. Controlling of documents and tools has become better, tidier and easier

In 2015, Vietnam National Productivity Institute conducted a reassessment to the capacity of Sê San Hydropower Development Company with good practice of 5S standards.

Sê San Hydropower Development Company is appreciated by Vietnam National Productivity Institute with a lots of advantages, such as: good leaders and good adtention, good implementation and good support, and good at adopting 5S solutions flexiblely and proactively.

Sê San Hydropower Development’s leaders and managers all understood the true meaning of 5S and how it work with their company. Thus, this helped creating favorable conditions for workers and employees; made good spirit and attitude to implement 5S; and encouraged innovative enhancements.

On 7th July 2015, base on the results of Vietnam National Productivity Institute professors’s evaluation report about the expert mission of 5S good practice, Vietnam National Productivity Institute ‘s Chairman has issued Decision No. 48/QD-NS Certificate good practice of 5S the second times to Sê San Hydropower Development Company. The certificate validity period is 2 years since the date of signing.
