9HA.01 turbine (named on the list of products of GE turbines) are designed with curved blades, capable of creating huge amounts of energy sufficient to meet the electricity demand of 680,000 households nail. Outstanding points of the turbine 9HA.01 is obtainable maximum capacity in less than 30 minutes after launch. This helps to enhance the ability to respond quickly to fluctuations in grid power supply, paving the way for widespread use of renewable energy (wind energy, solar energy, ...) of all manufacturers production, national grid and adapt to climate change.

The process of operating the system is summed over 3 stages as follows:

1. The gas turbine fuel combustion: Compressed air mixed with the fuel gas in the combustion chamber is burned at very high temperatures. Temperatures higher combustion plant operating performance as possible. Hot gas mixture to produce a force moving the rotor rotates the generator turbines. A portion of the kinetic energy is transformed rotation into electricity.

3. adding a steam turbine producing power: steam turbine power transfer mechanical energy to form the motor shaft generator. Here, the energy is converted into additional power.

Thanks to the use of combined cycle turbine 9HA.01, Bouchain plants can reduce energy consumption, save production costs. Estimates for 10 years, if a 1000 MW power plant using gas turbine technology 2 HA and improve performance up 1% of the amount saved by utilizing the heat can be up to $ 50 million gas fuel .

In addition to combined cycle system at the factory Bouchain of France, studied HA technology innovation and development at GE is also applied in many other developed countries in the world such as USA, UK, Russia Germany, Japan, Korea, etc ... Efficient use of capital and of the gas turbine fuel 9HA.01 currently holds the highest record in the history of energy production. If applied in Vietnam, this technology can contribute significantly to improving the operational efficiency of the power plant.
