121 million kWh of power saved in Binh Duong province

Mr. Phan Thanh Lam, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Provincial Power Company said that in the first 6 months of 2019, commercial electricity output was 6,505 billion kWh, making up for 46.23% of the plan. This figure ncreased by 10.73% compared with the same period in 2018. Particularly, the amount of electricity supplied to the industrial sector increased by 8.79% in comparision with the same period in 2018. Besides, the whole province has saved 121 million kWh of electricity, representing 57.1% of the year plan and 1.86% of commercial electricity output.

In the first 6 months of 2019, Binh Duong Provincial Power Company ensured safe and stable electricity supply in the province. Along with that, the company actively made and carried out a plan on stable and continuous electricity supply to serve provincial people during the holiday and national high school graduation exam.

Currently, Binh Duong Power Company is speeding up the construction of 110kV electrical networks to ensure safe, continuous and stable electricity supply; implementing KfW3 project using the ODA fund and completing the construction of 22kV grid connected networks to prevent electrical overload, opportunely meet the demand of electricity use of customers, contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of the province and minimize power outage due to malfunction.
