IREX proudly represents as the clean energy brand "made in Vietnam"

15/10/2021

IREX Energy Joint Stock Company (Solar BK Group) is a pioneer national enterprise that produces international quality solar panels and photovoltaic cells with 100% automation lines.
As part of the comprehensive development strategy, in 2015 IREX Solar Cell Factory was established. This can be considered as a dangerous step of SolarBK at that time when the renewable energy market had not really exploded, no one had anticipated the risks and opportunities that were remained unknown. But also since then, IREX has not stopped making efforts, gradually asserting its leading position in the domestic market in solar cell production, and becoming a reputable supplier to major global markets.

In 2018, the IREX high-tech renewable energy equipment factory complex (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) officially came into operation. The plant has a total capacity of up to 350 MWp, specializing in supplying photovoltaic panels and photovoltaic cells of grade A.
With the goal of applying modern technology to produce grade A panels and photovoltaic cells, the factory is installed with 100% automation lines that meet TUV, UL, CSA, ISO standards and other  leading standards of Europe and America. IREX products are available in more than 15 countries. In the domestic market, IREX provides clean energy solutions to large domestic investors such as EVN, Vingroup with a total project capacity of about 450 MWp.
In 2019, IREX was covered by the world's largest insurance organization for clean energy Munich Re, covering IREX panels. Most recently, in 2020, IREX cooperated with Jiangsu Luneng Energy Group (Singapore) to build a 1 GWp photovoltaic and solar cell plant. These can be considered as big steps of IREX in its journey to conquer the domestic and international solar power market.

Not only satisfied with the production and processing of products, IREX invests methodically in training human resources to master and apply world-class advanced technologies to improve product quality. The R&D Center was established with that goal in mind.
Accordingly, the R&D team has successfully researched and applied the latest manufacturing technologies for photovoltaic cells such as Multi-busbar, PERC, Anti-ID. At the same time, successfully studied internal and external structural changes of photovoltaic cells such as increasing the number of busbar lines from 3.4 to 5 busbar lines (BB).
Increasing the number of BBs on the panel has many positive implications. It helps to distribute resistance and current evenly across the photocell, increasing battery efficiency, reducing operating temperature and increasing battery life. According to calculations by IREX engineers, the new technology has increased the outstanding panel efficiency, to about 21%.
In addition to researching production technology solutions, IREX also focuses on researching technologies to make operations smarter, simpler and more efficient. Accordingly, IREX has applied advanced results of Industry 4.0 such as IoTs, big data, AI to apply to Belink intelligent control systems, SSOC automatic monitoring solutions.
SSOC solution - Solar System Operation Center, is a smart solar system operating solution, which helps to effectively monitor the solar power solution anytime, anywhere on smart devices. This solution has been applied to projects in Vietnam and USA markets and for the solar power monitoring system of the IREX Factory Complex.
With such steady progress, IREX is proud to be an international standard manufacturer of solar panels and photovoltaic cells, confidently competing with Tier1 brands, ranked solar cell manufacturers with highest credit rating of Bloomberg New Energy Finance. This is also the goal that IREX set in its journey to name a clean energy manufacturer in Vietnam on the world map.
