At the training session, participants heard environmental experts of Vietnam Cleaner Production Center provides an overview of the application of cleaner production in industry; improving the competitiveness of the business in the process of integration and sharing common knowledge in production associated closely with environmental protection. And main issues are the benefits of saving fuel, optimum using of materials, being against heat drain in business.

In addition, the participants are also taught energy auditing skill and quick assessment skill in the field; how to tabulate data analysis, install software and use electrical equipment; the skill of assessing materials, energy and chemicals used for production.

In the framework of this training course, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has chosen Phuc Son Cement Company and Hoa Phat Iron and Steel Complex in Kinh Mon district are two models to the participants to assess the situation and propose cleaner production solutions. After the training course, the candidates had been certified on completing training course on "Cleaner Production in Industry".
