Dong Thap issues Plan on cleaner production in industry for the period of 2016-2020
The overall objective of the province is striving to advance industrial production in the province reach the common goal of "Strategy for Cleaner Production in Industry 2020". Production activities have focused on efficient use of raw materials and energy inputs; reduce emissions and limit the level of output increased pollution; protect and improve environmental quality, human health and ensure sustainable development.
The specific goals by 2020 are as follows:
+ 90% of the industrial production base, has the potential to apply cleaner production is propaganda, popularization and awareness of the benefits of the application of cleaner production in industry.
+ 50% of industrial production facilities have the potential to carry the application of cleaner production and savings from 8 -13% of energy consumption, material consumption per unit of product.
+ 100% of full-time staff in cleaner production levels and sectors in the province are trained and qualified guides, advice, support application of cleaner production for production facilities industry.
The activities that will focus Dong Thap done in the near future are:
1. Raising awareness and capacity to apply cleaner production in industry: Organization of seminars, training tour, promoting the dissemination, equipment investment, and sent staff to participate in training courses apple
2. Construction and operation of databases and electronic information on cleaner production in industry: Update, build the database, maintaining cleaner production forum on our website industrial Promotion and counseling center for industrial development.
3. Technical assistance on the application of cleaner production in the industrial production base: Develop and disseminate technical guidance, implement cleaner production assessment, support real application solutions cleaner production in the industrial production base.
4. Building and maintaining a network of organizations to support cleaner production in industry: Develop reporting systems; building units clue about cleaner production.
5. Develop guidelines and provincial policy on cleaner production
Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Finance, Department of Planning and Investment and Economic Management Unit, Department of Information and Communications, the other offices of the provincial People's Committees of districts, towns, cities , manufacturing firms responsible for implementing this plan.
Funding sources for implementation of the plan, including the state budget: (1) the central budget: According to cost estimates for implementing the strategy of cleaner production in industry for 5 years and its annual Industry and Trade and the Ministry and branches to support the province, (2) local budgets: Based on an annual budget assigned by the PPC funds from local business (environmental business funding, business funding science science and technology, industrial promotion funding) and capital mobilized from other lawful sources.
