Ha Tinh Province: Commencing construction of solid waste treatment area

Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee has just approved the Environmental Impact Assessment Report and the implementation of the Solid waste treatment area project invested by the People's Committee of Huong Khe district in Huong Thuy commune.

According to Decision 2971/QD- People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province, the project is deployed on an area of more than 14,000 square metres, with a treatment capacity of 1.0 tons/hour using SANKYO GF incinerator technology. In particular, the environmental protection works, including: ash burial area, filter tank, biological lake, settling lake, drainage ditch... occupy nearly 3,000 square metres.

Specialized agencies and experts conducted a survey of the factory's construction site

It is known that the factory has an investment of more than 23 billion VND from the budget and other contributions. Currently, the People's Committee of Huong Khe district (the investor) is urgently implementing the rest of the site clearance, and at the same time carrying out the prescribed procedures for the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to review and approve for the project to be implemented as soon as possible.

The project uses technology that meets the national technical standards for domestic solid waste incinerators, with the goal of treating domestic waste arising from Phu Phong, Huong Xuan, Huong Vinh, Phu Gia, and Huong. Long, Huong Binh, Gia Pho, Huong Thuy communes and Huong Khe town.
