Vinh Phuc province supports investment in advanced equipment in the production of wood furniture

Recently, the Vinh Phuc provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy summarized the project on "Support for investment in equipment in the production of woodwork furniture" in cooperation with the Economic and Infrastructure Chamber of Binh Xuyen district under the People's Committee of Thanh Lang town, Binh Xuyen district and Nguyen Van Tu Wood Furniture Production Establishment of Thanh Lang Town, Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province.

In 2018, thanks to the financial support of the the Vinh Phuc provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Development Consultancy, Nguyen Van Tu Wood Furniture Establishment purchased two new CNC wood carving machines having many advantages such as small detail processing, cutting mode maximization, high accuracy, multi-functional mechanism, automatic error correction, automatic detail size check and automatic misalignment correction.

The investment of two new machines helps Nguyen Van Tu Carpentry Wood Furniture Establishment increase its output from 10-12 products to 20 products per month. In addition, the establishment also provides carving services to other facilities with a capacity of about 1,000 details per month leading to additional job opportunities for 5 habitants with a stable salary of VND5 million. Its revenue is about VND230 million per month and is estimated to be VND2.5 billion in the whole 2018.

Applying new equipment in production is indispensable for manufacturing establishments, which leads to workforce saving, uniform and high quality product manufacturing, raw material saving and cost reduction. However, in the process of operating equipment, establishments need to pay attention to onsite labor safety, environmental pollution, fire and explosion prevention and traffic safety commitment.
