Vietnam: Incentives, support for environmental protection activities, contributing to the country's sustainable development

On the first of August, in Da Nang city, Vietnam Environment Administration organized the conference on consultation on the Draft Decree guiding in details the implementation of the Law Environmental Protection 2014 in regard to the incentives and supports for environmental protection activities.
On the first of August, in Da Nang city, Vietnam Environment Administration organized the conference on consultation on the Draft Decree guiding in details the implementation of the Law Environmental Protection 2014 in regard to the incentives and supports for environmental protection activities.
The Draft Decree on incentives and supports for environmental protection activities including 16 articles that stipulate 04 groups: (1) incentives and support for infrastructure and land; (2) capital, tax and charge incentives and supports; (3) price subsidies and supports for product sale; (4) other incentives and supports.
At the conference, the delegates exchanged and discussed the incentives and supports for environmental protection activities; which focuses on incentives and supports for land, capital, taxes, fees, for seriously polluting establishments which must be relocated,…
The opinions of the delegates mainly focused on the difficulties and shortcomings in the implementation of the Decree No. 04/2009/ ND-CP and gave their recommendations to the Draft Decree to ensure the feasibility and consistence with the reality when the Decree is issued.
