Japan-supported domestic wastewater treatment plants built in Binh Duong

Following the success of the Environmental Improvement Project Phase 1 in the south of Binh Duong province in Thu Dau Mot – Binh Duong, in the phase 2 of the project a domestic wastewater treatment plants in Thuan An will be built in September 2014.
Following the success of the Environmental Improvement Project Phase 1 in the south of Binh Duong province in Thu Dau Mot – Binh Duong, in the phase 2 of the project a domestic wastewater treatment plants in Thuan An will be built in September 2014.
Total capital investment Phase 2 of the project is VND 6,399 billion, of which Japan (JICA) accounted for 85% and 15% from counterpart funding. The scope of Phase 2 will serve the collection and disposal of domestic wastewater in Thuan An and expand the collection networks in the inner wards of Thu Dau Mot city. The project continues to contributing significantly to solve the problem of domestic wastewater treatment activities in the South of Binh Duong. A wastewater collection system with ASBR treatment technology that the smell may be detected around the plant, therefore the treated wastewater will satisfy A before discharging into the environment.
