According to statistics, in 500 thousand businesses are operating across the country, the enterprises in accounted for only 0.03%. Most of the raw materials for the manufacture of spare parts and technology, auxiliary equipment have to be imported. The rate of localization of automobile CKCT only from 5-20%, footwear 30% textile, high-tech manufacturing of 10-20%. Meanwhile, CKCT sector alone, over the period 2011-2025 the demand for machines and equipment were approximately $ 250 billion.
To help developing supporting industries and CKCT true potential in the near future, there are several solutions and suggestions were put forward, including technology transfer from abroad to Vietnam, human resource training to master and technological development, created a legal framework facilitating technology transfer and support for foreign investment enterprises.

Science and Technology Minister Chu Ngoc Anh said: "The research and technology transfer is around 2 SI and CKCT field is very broad field. Now the government has directed the review and will be oriented development in the coming period.
