Yen Bai: Many preferential mechanisms to attract investment into industrial zones

According to an approved plan, Yen Bai Province now has five industrial zones (IZs) on an area of over 925 ha, including the southern IZ and Au Lau IZ (Yen Bai City); Minh Quan IZ (Tran Yen District), Mong Son IZ (Yen Binh) and Bac Van Yen IZ (Van Yen).

At present, the infrastructure of most IZs is quite complete and the IZs have initially attracted investors with some efficient investment projects, helping generate jobs for a large number of laborers.
To attract more investment into the local IZs, Yen Bai Province will provide more preferential mechanisms to investors like administrative procedure reform in granting investment certificates or land use right certificates; creating links in supplies of labor and services in IZs; implement planning to develop commodity-oriented agriculture and forestry associated with processing such as planning tea, fruit and cassava material regions.
