Thứ năm, 21/09/2017
Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) reported that Vietnam's textile and apparel revenue in the first six months of this year were $ 14.2 billion, up 10.6% over the same period last year.

Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex) reported that Vietnam's textile and apparel revenue in the first six months of this year were $ 14.2 billion, up 10.6% over the same period last year.

Vietnam's textile products are mainly exported to the US, European Union, Japan and Korea. Of which sales in the US reached 6 billion US dollars (up 9% over last year), followed by the European Union with 2.3 billion US dollars (up 8%), Japan with 1.5 billion dollar (up 12%) and South Korea ($ 1.2 billion), up 18%.

Despite the slow growth rate, statistics show that Vietnam's garment products are gradually gaining ground in the world market. In the face of increasing competitive pressures, domestic textile and garment enterprises must exploit to the utmost their existing resources to create synergy, towards stable and sustainable development, define brand on the market. Mr. Vu Duc Giang, General Director of the Group emphasized that: "If there is no science and technology development strategy, Vietnam's textile industry will lose its development opportunities".

The processes in the textile and garment industry have been developed in the direction of automation such as: use spinning machine, automatic routing of spindles to spinning machines, automatic spinning, filament yarn spinning machine, automatic filling of fibers on the fiber spinning machine. The efficiency achieved by process automation is to reduce the time to make product, improve productivity, cut unnecessary labor costs, improve fiber quality, and reduce the quantity product defects, cost savings for materials.

In addition, the implementation of experiments to check and control the quality of raw materials is essential to provide a reasonable mix of materials and achieve high economic efficiency. The research and development, manufacture new high-value products such as high-fiber, compact fiber, siro fiber, slub fiber, high fiber core fibers, produce fibers from recycled fibers such as polyester create environmentally friendly products and limit pollution. Using new materials such as Modal fiber, viloft, soya milk, corn, bamboo... creates high value products not only protect and save environmental resources, but also sustainable benefits, help improve competitiveness, open the niche for the domestic textile and garment industry.

In the field of Textile Dyeing, ready-to-use powdered powders are used to reduce the amount of steam, water consumption, reduce the preparation time, and reduce the amount of waste produced. The use of low-liquor dyeing equipment saves water, chemical aid, electricity, steam and labor. By applying steam-reusing technology, hot water and putting in closed-loop systems to completely recycle solvents, precision chemical dosing systems in wet treat save and use reasonable resources, to create products friendlier with environmentally and consumers.

In recent years, many textile enterprises have invested in expanding production towards the application of modern technology, using lines of modern technology with the level of automation and high uniformity to raise performance, lower costs for labor and reduce fuel consumption materials. Thanks to that, the textile and garment industry can increase competitiveness, reduce waste generation, ensure environmental regulations, create the basis for stable and sustainable development.
