Over the years, the company has implemented the measures of energy saving and cleaner production and achieved many benefits. The company has carried out energy audits and proposed solutions to save energy, such as: installation of inverters for large-capacity fan, application of power-saving lighting system; stable operation of kilns with in accordance with the norms of electricity, coal and oil.

- Recovery of emissions from Hoang Thach 2 production line for coal drying of Hoang Thach 1 production line, saving approximately 250 liters of oil/hour (equivalent to 10 billion VND/year);
- Recovery of cooling water for reuse in Hoang Thach 1 production line, saving 1.2 billion VND per year;
In addition, the company also applied the method of process controlling as: strengthen supervision and operation of equipment as designed, maintain the temperature of the furnace stable at a high level (1.450oC) to almost completely combust all exhaust gases to reduce emissions into the environment. The entire cooling water of the three lines have been processed and re-used, not discharged into the environment.
The training and awareness raising on cleaner production, energy saving and environmental protection for employees of the company has been focused. The company allows their employees regularly to attend training classes and seminars on applying the environmental management system ISO 14001; cleaner production; BAT/BEP projects; building cement industry standards; formulating regulations on Vietnam environmental award, etc. in order to update new knowledge and information.

| The Hoang Thach Cement Company includes 40 offices, workshops, representative offices, 01 Factory, 01 Enterprise. The company construction is located at two main places. The 24 ha Production place, located an the right bank of the Da Bach river, on the hill of Hoang Thach hamlet, Minh Tan commune, Kinh Mon district, Hai Duong province where displays the rich sources of limestone and claystone, consists of all key production workshops, from stage of breaking limestone, claystone to stage of processing material, burning and grinding cement. The 12.5 ha finished products place¸ located at left bank of Da Bach river, Vinh Tuy hamlet, Vinh Khe commune, Dong Trieu district, Quang Ninh province consists of 05 cement silos, cement packing machine, conveyor and channels to transport cement: by automobile, waterway or railway. |
