Korean supports Hung Yen improve waste water treatment system

Recently, Deputy Minister of Finance Truong Chi Trung and Mr. Yim Seong Hyeog, Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Korea (EDCF) has signed a credit agreement worth US$ 23.1 million for Hung Yen wastewater treatment system project with an interest rate of 0.1% / year.
Recently, Deputy Minister of Finance Truong Chi Trung and Mr. Yim Seong Hyeog, Vice President of Export-Import Bank of Korea (EDCF) has signed a credit agreement worth US$ 23.1 million for Hung Yen wastewater treatment system project with an interest rate of 0.1% / year.
This Agreement is a specific implementation of the a Vietnam-RoK framework credit agreement for the period 2012-2015 worth US$ 1.2 billion.
According to Mr Yim Seong Hyeog, the project will contribute to the socio-economic development of Vietnam and contribute towards in the UN Millennium Development Goals Specifically, the project will equip for water treatment systems in Hung Yen province in order to prevent environmental pollution, improve the environment and sanitary conditions for local people.
Besides, EDCF is providing capital to implement the projects on water in Moc Chau, Viet Tri and Long Xuyen.
