Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ho Thi Kim Thoa recently met Polish Deputy Minister of Environment Beata Jaczewska and talked about opportunities for business cooperation between Vietnam and Poland, particularly in green technology.

Poland has carried out a green revolution for more than 20 years and has now achieved the European Union's increasing standards on environmental protection.

Beata Jaczewska said that Poland was willing to transfer its advanced environmental technology to Vietnam, particularly the technology for managing waste, treating and collecting environment-polluting waste, saving energy and more.

For years businesses of the two countries have found many opportunities for cooperation in environmental protection. Ho Thi Kim Thoa hoped that Poland would find many opportunities for green technology transfer to Vietnam contributing to balanced development of the economy and the environment. Vietnamese-Polish environmental protection projects, particularly green technology, will also contribute to enhancing the friendship between the two countries./.
