Phu Tho province currently has 29 craft villages in 11 districts, cities, towns that were recognized by Phu Tho People's Committee with industry groups such as: processing of tea, bamboo and rattan weaving, processing of agricultural products, food, wood, hat making,...These villages have more than 80 percent of people take advantage of housing area for producing, as a result, most wastewater treatment systems have not constructed yet, 70 percent of the equipment used is rudimentary and simple machinery,…
Thus, environmental pollution in craft villages is inevitable and increasingly seriously threatening to environment as well as production development.
